Fifth Edition of TAT Newsroom Blogger Thailand Project Launched

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has announced the return of the ‘TAT Newsroom Blogger Thailand’ project. It will be the fifth edition of the project.

In the frame of the project, bloggers and social media influencers who write about Thailand will be invited to take part in a specially organized trips to explore selected regions in Thailand.

Participants both from abroad and residing in Thailand are encouraged to appply.

This year, TAT will look for social media influencers residing outside Thailand with at least one main social media account (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram). Having their own blog will be considered an advantage but not obligatory any longer. There will be no online competition for foreign participants as TAT will scout social influencers outside of Thailand, including 10 from Asia-Pacific, 10 from America, Europe and Oceania, and 10 from the list of past winners in the last four years. A panel of judges will select six candidates and four runners-up out of these 30 participants to take part in a special trip.

For social media influencers residing in Thailand, two trips will be organized. The first one will cover Phrae and Nan in Northern Thailand and is scheduled for between the last week of January 2020 to the first week of February 2020; and the second one will cover Phatthalung and Songkhla in Southern Thailand between the last week of June 2020 to the first week of July 2020.
