Best Destinations for Architecture and Design Lovers in 2020

The end of the year is the time for 'the best travel destinations' lists. The Architectural Digest magazine, a specialized website and nine international editions dedicated to international design talents, innovative homes and products, inspiring decorating ideas, culture, and travel, has shared its version of where architecture and design lovers have to head in 2020.

The annual ranking consists of 20 destinations worlwide that are recommended for visiting during the coming year. These destinations are not just nice places to visit – they are appealing from the point of view of their architecture, or design, or may feature exciting new museums, or may be a stage for some major design-themed event, etc.

To choose such destinations, the opinion of travel advisers, popular tour operators, and other industry experts are taken into consideration. The list usually includes different destinations – from metropolitan cities to smaller towns to remote islands to classic well-travelled destinations.

So here are the top 20 places to travel in 2020 – not many of them in Asia and we are somewhat disappointed.
