For Music and Wine Nashik Is the Place to Go

The Sula Vineyard in Nashik, Maharashtra, India is going to host SulaFest 2020, an annual revelling all about music and wine. The festival will take place on February, 1–2, 2020.

SulaFest is a much-awaited event popular with the locals. The festival is dedicated to the wine produced by the vineyard, but it is not just for drinkers. Expect good vibes, great treats and excellent music.

Some of the bands which will perform at the festival include Hot Chip; My Baby; Doctordru; Salim-Sulaiman; Indian band, The Local Train; Shveta Salve; Rumba De Bodas; The Spin Doctor; Voctronica; When Chai Met Toast; Electrophazz; Khora; and Jah Sun The Rising Tide.

In the frame of the festival, wine tasting will be held and the winemakers from Sula Vineyard will educate visitors on different types of wine, production techniques, vine types and more. Wine games and Vino spa are also announced. Some of the popular restaurants and cafes will set up stalls to dish out tasty grab to be washed down by wine. A separate area will be allocated for shopping stalls, too.

Sula Vineyards are located 15 km west of Nashik. First wines in Sula were launched in 2000 and by now the company holds about 70 percent of the Indian wine industry. Nashik, 200 km  west from Mumbai, is easily reached by train or bus. A road trip is likely to take you 4 hours up.
