Vistara Inaugurated Mumbai–Colombo Flight

Vistara, an Indian full-service airline, inaugurated their MumbaiColombo service that is operational since November, 25.

Sri Lanka became the fourth international destination for Vistara that commenced its international flights in August this year with DelhiSingapore and MumbaiSingapore service.Now it also flies to Bangkok in Thailand and Dubai in UAE. In total, Vistara serves 24 destinations and operates about 1200 flights weekly operated from the airline's two hubs – the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai.

As an organization set up by two World class companies, Singapore Airlines and Tata of India, Vistara brings in great value to consumers in Sri Lanka we’re proud and indeed happy that Vistara selected Sri Lanka to be their fourth international destination," Mr. Ruwan Waidyarathne, Executive Director of Hayley’s PLC, a Sri Lankan multinational and diversified conglomerate, said during the ceremony.

In Sri Lanka, Vistara appointed North South Airlines Pvt Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Hayley’s PLC, as its representative Company in the country with Hayley’s Aviation PLC operating as the main ground handling agent for the airline.

Vistara is India's highest rated airline on Skytrax. It is also the winner of several ‘’Best Airline’’ awards by TripAdvisor.
