Direct flights operate from Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport on a daily bases leaving Jakarta in the afternoon at 5.40 pm with the return fight from Bangkok taking off late in the evening at 10 pm. The flight time in either direction is about 3h20m. There is no time difference between Jakarta and Bangkok.
The route is served with two aircraft – Boeing 737-800NG accommodating 150 economy and 12 business class passengers or Boeing 737-900ER equipped with 168 economy and 12 business class seats. Both aircraft feature in-flight entertainment system for passengers of both seat classes.
Currently, Batik Air operates over 45 domestic and international routes. Daily, the airline performs over 350 flights. International destinations served by Batik Air include Singapore, Bangkok, Chennai in India, Perth in Australia, Guilin, Nanning and Kunming in China. Batik Air is the third airline from Lion Air Group to open a direct route to Bangkok after Thai Lion Air and Malindo Air.
