Oxy Pure offers several packages of 80 to 90 percent pure oxygen starting from INR299 (USD4). There are inhaling cocktails with different flavours – lavender, eucalyptus, lemongrass, cherry, lemongrass and more – infused with odourless oxygen.
Oxygen is generated by a special oxygen concentrating machine imported from the US and then supplied via a thin tube – cannula – put under customers' nostrils. The eventual concentration of oxygen customers breathe in is between 30 and 50 percent. The maximum length of the breathing session is 15 minutes to minimize the risk of inhaling too much oxygen. The bar owners warn that oxygen inhaling cocktails are not a medication but purely recreational thing.
The owners of the oxygene bar are planning to open one more branch at Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 3 and are going to start selling a franchise later on.
