AirAsia Launched Direct Manila–Bacolod Route

For AirAsia Philippines it is the second route in Western Visayas after Iliolo. The route to Bacolod is served three times a week. Currently, AirAsia Philippines serves 12 domestic routes to Cagayan De Oro, Caticlan, Cebu, Clark, Davao, Kalibo, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, Taglibaran and Manila.

The airline's representatives shared that over 10,000 tickets were already sold for November–December period for Manila–Bacolod route. AirAsia Philippines' chief executive officer is sure Bacolod will be one of the ariline's fast selling destinations. Bacolod had been one of the biggest unserved markets in AirAsia's network and now, when the airline finally added it to their portfolio, they promised passegners to provide a good product at a very reasonable price. The new flight goes in line with the country's policy to boost tourism across the country.
