Taoyuan, Taiwan to Host Classic Cars Festival

Taoyuan, a special municipality in northwestern Taiwan, will held the second annual Classic Cars and Road Safety Festival on October 26–27.

The exhibition dedicated to antique cars will feature about 100 classic cars dating back to the 1930s made by a variety of producers including Mercdes-Benz and Volkswagen. The event will take place on the square in front of HSR Taoyuan Station between 10.30 am and 5.30 pm.

A road safety education initiative will be also presented in the frame of the festival. It is aimed at raising awareness of importance to respect traffic rules and regulations and will promote  'slow down, watch, and stop at intersections' behavior among drivers. Special demonstrations illustrating blind spots larger trucks and buses have when making a turn will be held, too.

The program of the festival will also feature fun activities for visitors inluding a POLI Bonny Rescue Heroes-themed fan event themed aftre traffic safety on October 27.
