TAT Mobile Car to Promote Tourist Attractions in Bangkok

In a bid to promote Thailand's tourist attractions, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has recently launched 'TAT Mobile Car' information kiosk to let it easier for visitors to get access to the information of sights, destinations, festivals and events both in Bangkok and across the country.

The TAT Mobile Car will make stops throughout Bangkok in popular tourist locations including Khao San Road from Wednesday to Sunday in the afternoon, from 12 pm to 7 pm. The campaign will last three months till the end of September when the high season starts.

The TAT Mobile Car first made its appearance in July in front of Chana Songkhram Metropolitan Police Station in Khao San Road area. It is reported that over 2,600 tourists used the service to receive tourist information.

In August the information kiosk will be stationed near Tha Chang pier, an easy stroll from the Grand Palace and the Temple of Emerald Buddha.

In September, the TAT mobile car can be found at Chatuchak Weekend Market, the most popular and famous Bangkok's market in the northern part of the capital as well as near Wat Pho, close to Tha Tien with Bangkok's signature Wat Arun sitting on the opposite side of the Chao Phraya River.
