Three Main Shanghai's Attractions Join City Pass Program

Shanghai's top three tourist attractions – Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower, and Shanghai Wildlife Park – launched a new city pass ticket program with joint ticktes available since August, 8.

City passes program has been launched in Shanghai this June. Currently, there is a variety of city passes on offer that cover almost 90 percent of all tourist destinations in the city allowing visitors to save money on entrance tickets. The list of participating attractions is constantly expanding with almost 100 travel destinations currently participating in the program.

Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower, and Shanghai Wildlife Park now offer one-, two-, and three-day passes, all bookable online. All the three destinations within the new program focus on scientific knowledge and is in major part aim at students – one of the fastest growing group of visitors, according to the city's statistics.

The city passes program with online booking option enjoys great popularity among foreign visitors, too. About a quarter of all the passes booked online are bought by international tourists. Thus the expansion of the city passes program is expected to contribute to attractiveness of the city in the eyes of overseas visitors.
