Thai Airways Introduces Preferred Seats Service for Passengers

Thai Airways passengers will soon get an option of selecting preferred seats. Naturally, for a price.

Thailand's flag carrier airline has announced the introduction of the preferred seats service for thei guests. The fee for preferred seat will vary depending on the flight distance. This option will be offered to passengers after the tickets have been bought.

It will be possible to opt for preferred seats on all international flights of the airline that currently flies to about 60 international destinations worldwide. The selected seats option will be availabe for passengers of both Economy Class and Royal Silk Class for travel starting from 27 July 2019 onwards.

After the tickets are paid for and issued, passengers travelling Economy Class will be offered to select seats either in front row or exit row in each zone of Economy Class. On flights where the preferred seats service is available, Royal Silk Class passengers will be offered to buy First Class seats.

It will be possible to buy preferred seats online through Thai Airways’ website starting from mid-August.

Currently Thai Airways allows their passengers to select their seat of choice free of charge.
