Sightseeing Train Launched in Beijing

Last week, Beijing Railway Administration launched Huairou to Miyun train. It is a themed train that will take you around Beijing's most interesting attractions.

Not only this tourist train introduced by Beijing Railway Administration will bring tourists to some of the most scenic spots in suburban area of Beijing, it will also take care that you won't get boring during the trip.

The train features differently themed compartments that make travellers acquainted with different aspects of Chinese culture, architecture, history and traditions – some of the compartments are decorated under Watertown, Great Wall, and Spiritual Legacy themes. During the trip, cultural shows are performed in compartments with actors from art and cultural centres of all districts invited to interact with passengers. 

There are two routes of the sightseeing train: Beijing WTown Route and Jinshanling Great Wall Route. Trains depart from Huangtudian Station and depending on the route stop at Yanxi Lake, Hongluo Temple, Qinglong Gorge, Beijing WTown, and Jinshanling Great Wall. Tickets cost RMB199 and RMB158 respectively. They are also bookable via WeChat and 'smart traveling' application by Beijing Railway Administration.
