Danang International Fireworks Festival Starts June 1

Danang International Fireworks Festival 2019, Vietnam, Danang's most colourful festival of the year is almost here. This year, the festival will start on June, 1 and will last till July, 6, with 5 Saturdays of the month featuring an amazing fireworks show brought to Vietnam from around the world.

The festival started back in 2008 and since then has grown into the city’s main attraction. If in 2008 the festival began as a no-frills event with only standing viewing, this year there are 30,000 tickets for seated areas prepared for the visitors. 

In 2019, the Festival (DIFF 2019) is held under 'Stories by the river' theme with separate topics chosen for each of the five nights of the show: The root, The buds of life, Love, Shades of colors, Setting sail. Eight teams from Vietnam, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Finland, Italy, China, United Kingdom will present their shows and compete for the title of the best performer.

This is the program of the shows for each of the five nights:
Night 1 (01/6/2019) Topic: “Origin” Vietnam – Russia
Night 2 (08/6/2019) Topic “ Seed” Brazil – Belgium
Night 3 (15/6/2019) Topic “Love” Finland – Italy
Night 4 (22/6/2019) Topic “Colors”  UK- China
Night 5 (06/7/2019) Finale (The best two teams will compete)

The fireworks will be performed in the Han River Port area.
The main entertainment stage will be located in Tran Hung Dao street, opposite fireworks location and Olalani building.
Other locations where different festive activities will take place include two ends of Dragon Bridge, Bach Dang street and tourist beaches of the city.
