The Spirit of Goa Festival 2019 Scheduled for April 26

The second edition of The Spirit of Goa Festival 2019 is scheduled for April, 26–28. The three-day event is organized under the patronage of the Goa Tourism Department that joined hands with the Goa Feni Distillers and Bottlers.

The festival focuses on Goa's specialty products – cashew and coconut – featured in local dishes, products and handicrafts with a special attention to traditional aspects associated with this produce including home-grown spirits, which will range from local beverage to Feni, to homemade wines, to liquor and more.

The Spirit of Goa Festival 2019 will feature a varied entertainment program, including competitions and workshops like a cashew stomping competition and cooking master classes conducted by well-known professions like Karl Fernandes and Tiz Martins.

There will be a food fair to allow visitors to relish other beverages and food as well as musicals performances and gigs.

The jovial atmosphere of Goa – situated midway down India’s southwest coast – along with its numerous beaches, its market towns and its buoyant locals sets it apart from the rest of India, making it one of the most popular traveller destinations since the early 1970s. Dabolim airport is Goa's main gateway with daily flights to Delhi; Mumbai; Bangalore; Chennai; Kochi; and Hyderabad among the others.
