Cebu Pacific to Launch New Direct Flights from Clark

Cebu Pacific is going to launch several new direct routes from its rapidly growing hub. Between August and October 2019, the airline will add at least four new direct routes from Clark, Philippines: one international flight to Tokyo and three domestic flights – to Iloilo, Bacolod and Puerto Princesa.

Flights to Tokyo's Narita Airport are planned to start on August, 9, 2019. There will be four flights a week in each direction on on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Around the same date, flights to Iloilo and Bacolod will be added to the airline's portfolio, while ClarkPuerto Princesa (Palawan) route will be available from October, 9.

This addition of the four new routes will increase Cebu Pacific's operational capacity in Clark by 40%. Last year, the introduction of direct flights to and from Davao and Panglao (Bohol) complemented by additional frequency for the Clark-Macau route provided a 75% increase to Cebu Pacific.

The airline eyes Clark as a hub with a great untapped potential and is committed to jump at the opportunity to boost tourism, trade and investment through their expantion of operation in Clark.

The catchment area of Clark International Airport is estimated as 23 million people, what makes it one of Asia's fastest-growing airports. In 2018, 2.5 million passengers travelled via Clark
