The new train station does not have any entrances and exits and was built just to admire the scenery. The only way to access this station is to disembark from a train. The only way to leave this station is to get on a train again.
The Nishikigawa Seiryu Line runs parallel to the Nishiki River and boasts some of the most stunning views in Japan’s Honshu island. Following numerous requests of railway travellers the rail operators decided to designate a scheduled stop at one of the most picturesque points to let travellers take in the beauty of the area.
It is worth mentioning that it is not actually the only unusual train tstation in Japan. Over the years, Japanese rail operators have already surprised their passengers with some other creations and designs to enhance the overall train travel experience.
