VNAT Invites International Journalists from Hanoi Summit to Join Free Tours

A two-day summit meeting, the 2019 North Korea–United States Hanoi Summit Vietnam, will be held on February, 27–28 in Hanoi. The National Tourism Administration of Vietnam (VNAT) sees the event as a great opportunity for promotion of tourism in the country.

With about 3,000 of interantional journalists participating in the summit, Hanoi's getting vast coverage in international media as an attractive destination with high hosting potential, world-class sights, and busy festival and business events calendar. This coverage will help draw attention to Hanoi and the country and stimulate inbound tourism.

VNAT's partner tourist agencies like Hanoitourist, Saigontourist, Transviet, Vietrantour and Hanoi Red Tour are offering free tour packages to international reporters attending the summit. Free tours will be organized between February, 28 and March, 2. Tours are aimed at making visitors acquainted with rich heritage and cultural traditions of Vietnam and stimulating international reporters to become ambassadors of Vietnam tourism promoting the image of the country through different platforms, from social media to websites.

Some of the special tour programs include visits to Duong Lam Village, Thay Pagoda, and Trang An Complex. Journalists will be offered to attend the Quintessence of Tonkin art performance or join a variety of day tours around Hanoi.
