Jaipur to Host 6th Cartier ‘Travel with Style’ Concours d’Elegance

On February, 23–24, Jaipur, the capital of the northern Indian state of Rajasthan, will host the 6th edition of Cartier ‘Travel with Style’ Concours d’Elegance, India's premiere vintage car event.

The first edition took place back in November 2008 in Mumbai when 60 cars were presented to the judgement of the car industry professionals. Other locations of the show during the last years include Delhi and Hyderabad.

This time the prestigious event will take place in Grand Rambagh Palace Jaipur. For two days in February the palace will house an outstanding display of classic automobiles and motorcycles with visitors flocking to the event from around the globe. As usually, participants of the show are selected by invitation only. Among others, the Pebble Beach Concours from the United States and the Salon Retro Automobile from France will present their own collections of vintage vehicles. 

This year categories for cars include Pre-War Classics (up to 1945), Roadster (1946–1969), Preservation (up to 1965), Indian Heritage (1947–1965) and Post-War Classics (1946–1965).

Motorcycles will compete in three categories: Veteran (vintage up to 1930), Pre-War (1931–1945) and Post-War (1946–1969).
