More Direct Flights between Vietnam and Hong Kong, Bangkok

Vietjet launches its direct flight between Phu Quoc, Vietnam and Hong Kong in April, 2019. Bangkok Airways double the number of their flights between Bangkok, Thailand and Danang, Vietnam.

Vietjet, Vietnam's international low-cost airline, has announced the launch of Phu QuocHong Kong direct air route effective April, 19. The route will be operated four times a week. Flights from Phu Quoc are sceduled to take off at 10.50 am and land in Hong Kong at 2.45 pm. In the opposite direction, flights will depart at 3.40 pm and arrive to the island at 5.25 pm. Flight time in each direction is about two hours 45 minutes.

The new route will satisfy the increasing demand for air travel between the two destinations and promote Phu Quoc that is one of the latest emerging island destinations in SEA. 

Bangkok Airways, Thailand's regional Bangkok-based airline, will increase the number of their flights between Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport and Danang, Vietnam. Starting from March, 1, there will be two daily flights between Bangkok and Danang – and vice versa. The second daily flight from Bangkok will leave the Thai capital at 4.20 pm and reach Danang International Airport by 6.05 pm. The return flight will leave Danang at 6.55 pm and arrive to Bangkok at 8.50 pm.
