The festival will take place in Tehri, a city famous for the highest damn in India, that sits on Bhagarathi River and is 260.5 m high.
The program of the festival features water sports and other adventure and water related activities that are the main draw here and include boating, banana rides, river rafting, paragliding, kayaking, paragliding, water surfing, canoeing and much more. The old town of Tehri used to sit at the confluence of Bhagirathiu and Bhilangna rivers but was submerged because of the construction of the dam. There is neither airport nor railway station nearby the closest ones located in Dehradun, 93 km away, and Rishikesh, 76 km away respectively.
