Two More Direct Air Routes between China and Thailand Open in January

Two more direct routes link China and Thailand this month. GuiyangPhuket flights started on January, 11, while NanningBangkok flights are due to commence on January, 23.

9 Air, a low-cost subsidiary of a Shanghai-based major Chinese carrier Juneyao Airlines, now flies from the capital city of Guizhou Province in the southwest of China, Guiyang, to the island of Phuket in Thailand. There are three flights a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to Phuket and on Monday, Thursday and Saturday – from Phuket with flying time of three hours 30 minutes. Flights takes off from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 10.05 pm and land in Phuket International Airport after midnight, at 12.30 am. In the opposite direction, the flight is scheduled to depart at 1.30 am and arrive to Guiyang at 6.55 am.

The flights between Nanning and Bangkok will be performed by Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines. They fly out of the airline's main hub in Nanning Wuxu Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. Flights from China will leave at 7 pm and arrive to Thailand at 8.25 pm. Flying back, the departure time from Bangkok is 9.45 pm. The flight will take two hours 25 minutes and has a daily schedule. Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines is a relatively young airline with operations started on 13 February 2015. It became one of the first airlines based in Guangxi province where Nanning is the capital.
