It is scheduled for February, 12–14, 2019, and it is still possible to become one of 20 happy couples who will get married in a Neptune-like style under the waters of the Andaman Sea. In 2007, it was named one of the country’s national identity projects by the Thai government, and in 2013, the event received a prestigeous Thailand Tourism Award.
The event includes a variety of activities, starting on February, 12, from a welcoming ceremony at Thumrin Thana Hotel and a traditional Thai wedding parade to the Trang Clock Tower. The underwater registration takes place on the following day with the boat leaving for the Emerald Cave from the Pak Meng Pier. In the evening, the certificates confirming participation in the underwater wedding ceremony are given to the married couples on the Pak Meng Beach. Finally, on February, 14, the couples visit Trang's oldest shrines for happiness and prosperity.
