5 Asian Destinations for Best NYE Fireworks – Book Your Tickets!

There's going to be a lot of laser, light&sound and cultural shows during the countdown to 2019 in all the major cities in Southeast Asia, but we've choisen the big 5 to admire an incredibly spectacular fireworks ushering the new 2019 in. Enjoy!

Taipei, Taiwan
At midnight, Taipei 101, the iconic skyscrapper, will light up floor by floor with the last seconds of 2018 and immediately after the clock strikes midnight, the edifice will explode with myriads of unrivalled fireworks.

Singapore
Marina Bay is the answer to where to admire the best New Year Eve fireworks in Singapore. What you'll get is all-in-one picture: Marina Bay Sands hotel, Supertree Grove and Singapore Flyer Ferris wheel all lit up by the dazzling light display.

Bangkok
The most spectacular fireworks this time are expected at ICONSIAM, the brand new lifestyle and shopping mall on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Asiatique, also on Chao Phraya, will do the fireworks show, too.

Hong Kong
Victoria Harbour will light up with a ten minute light and music concert in the skies above the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The best place to see the show is definitely Kowloon.

Kuala Lumpur
Choose a vantage point to see fireworks lightening the skies above the cult Petronas Twin Towers. Streets will be jammed packed, so it is a good idea to book a room in a hotel with a roof terrace.
