With the cool season approaching, Phang Nga, a province just north of Phuket, expects growing numbers of visitors to its natural hot springs. Phang Nga hot springs are the busiest during December and January when the balmy weather allows to enjoy warm baths.
The most popular springs in Phang Nga which are Rommani Hot Springs are located in Rommani Subdistrict and cover the area of 6,400 sq meters. Besides mineral-load warm sulfide, chloride and nitrates baths, there are 5 geysers with water temperature ranging between 40 and 63 degrees Celsius.
Besides Rommani hot springs, there are also Kapong Hot Springs, in the namesake district, just down south. Travelling south of Phuket, Saline Hot Springs Khlong Thom in Krabi are worth mentioning, too.
To get to Phang Nga from Bangkok, hop onto a direct bus from the Southern Bus Terminal, Sai Tai Mai. There is no airport in Phang Nga, thus you can fly either to Phuket or Krabi followed by a bus or van ride to Phang Nga.
