First express train in Myanmar Yangon-Kyaikhto

On 27 September  the first express train Yangon-Kyaikhto-Yangon will be launched in Myanmar. It will depart from Yangon each Saturday and will return from Kyaikhto each Sunday.

On 27 September  the first express train Yangon-Kyaikhto-Yangon will be launched in Myanmar. It will depart from Yangon each Saturday and will return from Kyaikhto each Sunday.

One way trip will take around 4,5 hours and will cost 10 US dollars for foreigners and kyat 3500 for local domestic passengers. On the way to one of the most popular sightseeings in Myanmar - Kyaikhhtiyoe Pagoda special train will have three stops: Bago, Waw and Theinzayet.

In spite of the train is second-hand which was buy in Japan, it is in good condition and is able to carry 332 passengers.
