Pesona Lombok Rally Wisata 2018 to Support Tourism on Island

Today and tomorrow, November, 24–25, Lombok, Indonesia, will host the Pesona Lombok Rally Wisata 2018 event aimed at supporting the island's recovery after the earthquake and boosting tourism.

This year the island sees the fourth edition of the rally which was first held in 2015. Automobile clubs and individual enthusiasts are welcome to take part in the Lombok Charm Tourism Rally which starts at the Montana Premier Senggigi Hotel in West Lombok. The whole route is divided into two parts and passes through some of the most prominent attractions of the island. The first part of the route covers the West and North Lombok including the areas affected by the earthquake, while the second part features Mataram in West Lombok and Central Lombok

15 professional clubs and 20 amateur organizations from Jakarta, East Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, South and East Kalimantan and Papua are competing for prizes in several categories with the time, speed and covered distance analyzed.

Located east of Bali, Lombok is easily the greatest island in the whole of Indonesia. The biggest highlight of the island is the massive, awe-inspiring Mt Rinjani. Air Terjun Tiu Kelep, Sindang Gile and Betara Lenjang Waterfalls are all amazing. Neither Selong Belanak nor Tanjung A’an Beaches will leave you unimpressed. You must, must go.
