New River Bus Routes Approved for HCMC

The municipal Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City gave the green light to Daily Company which operates river buses in HCMC to launch seven new routes.

The new routes will facilitate commuting both for locals and tourists and boost water-based tourism helping foreign tourists get closer glimpes of HCMC citizens' everyday life. Here is the list of the approved routes:

Route 1: Bach Dang boat station-Saigon River-Ben Nghe canal-Cau Mong station-Ong Lon canal-Dia canal-Cu Lao Xanh station in District 7 and back.

Route 2: Cau Mong station to one of the boat stations of Bach Dang, Binh An, Thanh Da, Hiep Binh Chanh or Linh Dong-Saigon River-Binh Quoi 1 station

Route 3: Bach Dang boat station-Saigon River-Ben Nghe canal-Cau Mong station-Saigon River-Nha Be River-Soai Rap River-Vam Sat River-Lo Ren River-Dam Doi station-Can Gio District

Route 4: Bach Dang boat station-Saigon River-Den Do cape-Nha Be River-Dong Nai River-Nha Be River-Den Do cape-Saigon River-Bach Dang boat station

Route 5: Bach Dang boat station-Saigon River-Ben Nghe canal-Cau Mong station-Saigon River-Den Do cape-Nha Be River-Soai Rap River-Vam Sat River-Lo Ren River-Long Tua River-Nha Be River-Saigon River-Bach Dang boat station

Route 6: Cau Mong station-Ben Nghe canal-Saigon River-Bach Dang boat station-Thanh Da canal-Saigon River-Thanh Da peninsula-Ben Nghe canal-Cau Mong station

Route 7: Cau Mong station-Saigon River-Ben Dinh-Ben Duoc in Cu Chi’s outlying district
