Laem Son occupies a stretch of Thailand’s southwestern Andaman Sea coastline to the south of Ranong. The designated park area stretches for 100kms down the shoreline and also includes offshore islands such as Koh Lan and Koh Kamyai. Laem Son is named after the region’s signature pine trees (son means pine in English).
