Direct Flights between Clark and Seoul Available Now

Philippines AirAsia will soon add a new international route to their itinerary. It will then become possible to fly direct between Clark International Airport and Seoul, Korea.

The maiden flight will be made on January, 19 while promotional fares on air tickets are  available till November, 10 for flights between January, 19 and March, 30, 2019. There will be three weekly flights in each direction, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Currently all the flights between Clark and Seoul are connecting flights taking over seven hours, while the new direct AirAsia flight will need three hours 45 minutes to travel between the two destinations.

Seoul is a popular winter destination for the Filipinos who want to experience real snowy winter and AirAsia is sure the new route has a huge potential. It also shows AirAsia's intention to further expand its presence in Clark International Airport, the main gateway to Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City and Mabalacat City. Located just 80 km northwest of Manila, it also serves as the second airport for the capital of the Philippines.

AirAsia already offers quite a few direct flights from Clark International airport to the destinations throughout the country including Cebu, Davao, Puerto Princesa, Caticlan for Boracay island, Tacloban, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro as well as one international flight, namely to Taipei, Taiwan.
