New BTS station will connect with SRT line

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) considers the possibility of constructing new Sky Train (BTS) line from Bang Wa Station to Sala Thammasop Train Station in Thawi Watthana district.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) considers the possibility of constructing new Sky Train (BTS) line from Bang Wa Station to Sala Thammasop Train Station in Thawi Watthana district, where it would be connected with the westbound commuter rail system.

The creation of the BTS extension line will supposedly take about 1 year and will cost 20 billion baht. New line length 7 km is expected to relieve traffic congestion in the Thonburi area.

 However, the project will not officially submitted to to the Transport Ministry until the end of its research.
