The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has found the decision of its troubles with frequent train accidents. SRT Direction holds a major merit-making ceremony today at one of the Buddhist temples to get Buddha's blessing.

As SRT governor Prapat Chongsanguan said, “I believe Thailand has survived several bad incidents because of divine protection. The SRT should too.” According him the reason for the spate of accidents might be the damage of a 48-year-old painting at the SRT's head-office. Now officials are looking for a restorer to repair the picture.
