Eat and Drink in Singapore – Two Festivals Hitting the City This October

Two tasty events to check in this October in Singapore are a month-long Singapore River Festival 2018 which starts on October, 16 and will last till November, 11 and a three-day wine extravaganza, the Singapore Wine Fiesta 2018, from October 19 till October 19.

The historic river together with its famous Robertson Quay, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay will be at its best almost a whole month during the annual Singapore River Festival 2018. Take your family for a stroll along the banks of the river, take part in the fringe activities and enjoy shows of Singaporean talents – from circus acts to musical performances.

Taste: Primarily aimed at celebrating the best dished along the river, SRF 2018 will offer visitors to taste 21 mouthwatering dishes selected by the four esteemed judges. Shop: LAH – Local at Heart – Bazaar is a festive outdoor market Singapore style full of shopping opportunities and food stalls with special activities for kids. Not to miss: Aerial manta rays will fly high in the sky in Boat Quay on November 2 and 3.

The Singapore Wine Fiesta 2018 is going indoors – and is no more weather dependent. The program of the festival includes tasting of 250 varieties of wines from around the world; 10 educational mastercalsses from winemakers; and gourment food and wine pairing lessons featuring both Asian and Western signature dishes.
