Why Visit Serendah Waterfalls, Selangor, Malaysia?

Picturesque and accessible from the Klang Valley, the Serendah waterfalls in Selangor, Malaysia, offer an easy refreshing escape from Kuala Lumpur for those who are not ready to brave think jungle and mountain treks.

Located at the Kampung Orang Asli Serendah in Selangor, the park with the waterfalls is a great destination for a family day trip giving you a great outdoorsy feeling yet with all the necessary facilities like foodstalls, toilets and a parking lot within a short walking distance from the falls. For more adventurous hikers there are relatively easy trails to the second tier of the falls.

The main draw of the falls is an opportunity to dip into the cool pools. Watch out for slippery stones, bring your swimming suits, towels as there are no rent services and get ready to get wet. There are gazebos all around the park making it a great place for a picnic – barbecues are allowed, too, and it is a good idea to have your own mats in case all gazebos are occupied.

Serendah is easily reached from Kuala Lumpur via an hour's drive.
