The flagship of Centara's hotels in Laos is located in Pakse, southern Laos and is currently well under development. Centara Plumeria Resort Pakse is scheduled to open in September 2020.
Three new developments will be located in Vientiane, the capital city, and the historical city of Luang Prabang. Totally these three hotels will feature 214 rooms will be developed under different brands from Centara's fortfoglio.
The upscale Centara Grand with world class accommodation, leisure and dining facilities will be built in Luang Prabang, in proximity to its international airport. Also in Luang Prabang, there will appear Centara by Centara, a more affordable version of Centara catering for budget-conscious travellers who nonetheless require high levels of comfort. It will enjoy central city location within an easy reach of all the major attractions.
In the meantime, Vientiane will get the new-comer of the Centara family, COSI branded hotel. The most modestly priced of all the three, it provides its guests with very localised experience of a modern city hotel.
What we personally like about this piece of news is that Laos is definitely changing. Big brands are coming to the country enhancing the travel experience. While there are enough places to feel that vanishing authentic vibe, new opportunities for a more upscale and discerning travellers appear. And they are more than welcome.
