First Ever Shopping and Lifestyle Mall to Appear in Sihanoukville

With construction already started it's now confirmed: Sihanoukville will soon get its first-ever shopping and lifestyle mall worth USD10 million.

Occupying a hectar of land, the brand new modern shopping Furi Times Square Mall will feature clothes and food stores, dining options and cafes, including the international coffee brewer Starbucks and Thailand-based Amazon Coffee, all spread over four floors. There will be a movie theatre, too. The construction is expected to be completed by September 2019.
It is no secret that recently Sihanoukville has relied mostly on Chinese tourists and the mall-to-be is already dubbed 'Chinese' – not only because it is obviously aimed at Chinese visitors in the first turn but also because the developer of the project, Furi Real Estate, has joined hands with an unnamed investor from Macau. Furi Real Estate is a well-known company on the local market which has in their portfoglio several other important projects like Casa Meridian Condo, The Bhumi Emerald, and De Castle Royal.
The new shopping centre will appear in the Mittapheap district of Sihanoukville. Currently Sihanoukville is indeed experiencing the lack of high class shopping opportunities so the new mall is more than welcome.
