Cebu Launces More Flights to Narita, Japan

The Philippine low-cost Manila-based airline, Cebu Pacific, increases number of flights between Cebu, the Philippines, and Narita, Japan.

Effective December, 1st, 2018, there will be daily flights instead of tte current four weekly ones in each direction. Those travelling to Japan from Bacolod, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro or Davao will also benefit as connections to Narita flights will become smoother. Besides Narita–Cebu route, the airline offers direct links between Manila and other Japanese cities: there are 14 weekly flights to Narita, five – to Nagoya, four – to Osaka, and three – to Fukuoka.

According to Cebu Pacific's information, Japanese routes show the highest levels of growth among all other routes served by the airline. During April–June 2018 period alone the passenger flow between the Philippines and Japan served by Cebu Pacific grew over 50%. The Philippines are a popular vacation destination for the Japanese tourists and students who study English there. This year, over 360,000 Japanese have visited different destinations of the archipelago during January–July period.
