New rail road to be constructed on Java

Transportation Ministry of Indonesia launched a major project of construction new roil road between Cikarang dry port in Karawang (West Java) and Tanjung Priok Port (North Jakarta).

Transportation Ministry of Indonesia launched a major project of construction new roil road between Cikarang dry port in Karawang (West Java) and Tanjung Priok Port (North Jakarta). It will promote economic and transport development of Java island.

According to Hanggoro Budi Wiryawan, transportation railway director up to the end of this year they should acquire 1,420 square meters of land and the construction will be started in January or February 2015 year. The project of the new railway will cost around Rp 200 billion (US$17.3 million).
