Tourist Arrivals Are Up in Sri Lanka – Time to Visit with 12go!

In the first eight months of 2018 tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka are up 12.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, the official government new portal of Sri Lanka repoerted yesterday.

During August 2018 alone over 200,000 visitors entered the island showing about 5% growth in comparison to August 2017 when 190,000 tourists were welcomed. The total number of tourist footfall between January and August 2018 is reported to be 1,582,835. Most tourists predictably come from the neighbouring India with China being a close runner-up. The third largest source market for Sri Lanka is the United Kingdom. Almost all the visitors enter the country by air through the main international sky haven of Sri Lanka, Bandaranaike International Airport in Negombo

Since August, over 20 top destinations all over Sri Lanka are already live on 12go.asia.
