World's Longest Glass Bridge Is Open to Public – Guess Where

The world's longest glass bridge was opened to public on August, 28th. It is located in Yinglong Gorge of the Qiaoping Mountain, Chongqing, China.

The bridge is made of 5D glass and is the first of such kind in Chongqing. 5D glass creates a peculiar effect reflecting the lanscape and rendering the scenery in a multi-dimentional manner.
The length of the bridge is 230 m and the hight is 160 m. It connects the shores of the Yangtze River and allows visitors to literally stand in the middle of the stream admiring the gorge below.
It took about a year to biuld the bridge with the construction initiated in July 2017. The safety inspection certified the bridge is safe to walk on.

Chongqing is a major city in South China. Sitting on the Yangtze, it sees a lot of tourists cruising along the river or detouring to the Three Gorges – the Qutang, the Wuxia and the Xiling gorge – a picturesque stretch of river cutting through the Wu Mountains.

Chongqing is easily reached by air with its airport serving domestic and international flights; by train – there are three main railway stations in Chongqing with trains to many destinations throughout the country from a 2.5 hour express train to Chengdu to the 25-hour long-haul train to Beijing; by bus – with Nanchong and Xian being some of the most popular destinations.
