Thai Lion Air increases capacity

A subsidiary of the most popular Indonesian airline Lion Air, situated in Thailand is ready to shake off the heaviness of political instability in the country and build capacity for the next tourist season.

A subsidiary of the most popular Indonesian airline Lion Air, situated in Thailand is ready to shake off the heaviness of political instability in the country and build capacity for the next tourist season. Thai Lion Air, which appeared on the Thai avia market only in December last year and forced to reduce the number of flights because of the military situation in the country, now is ready to open wings.

Thai Lion Air added six more Boeing 737-900ER jets to increase a flight frequency on its new route between Bangkok (Don Mueang Airport) and Hat Yai at the deep south of Thailand. It also plans to present five new routes in the coming tourist season. The ambitious carrier is going to become a real competitor of the best Thai low-cost airline – Thai Air Asia.
