Sri Lanka managed to overpass other nominees of this caegory which included China, Japan, Nepal, India, Thailand, and Vietnam, each of which, to our mind, is a great adventure destination, too.
– Asia's Leading Beach Destination – the Philippines. Wow! Neither paradise-like islands of Thailand, nor the amazing Indonesian stunner of Bali could overshadow the Philippines. You are still unsure where to go for a beach holiday?
– Asia'a Leading City Break Destination – Hong Kong, China. There were amazingly impressive competitiors in this category – from Singapore and Shanghai to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Ulaanbaatar.
– Asia's Leading Dive Destination – Thailand. Finally! Finally Thailand is featured, too – we were slightly worried not to find it among the winners of the previous categories. Other nominees included Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
– Asia's Leading Tourist Attraction – Taj Mahal. Well, nothing to add – it is impressive!
