From Manila to Melbourn Direct with Cebu Pacific

Our favourite lowcost carrier in Asia, Cebu Pacific, has recently launched direct flights between Manila, the Philippines, and Melbourn, Australia.

There are currently three scheduled flights a week – on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in each direction. Flights from Manila leave at 6.05 am and arrive to Melbourn at 3.50pm local time. The return flight takes off from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 5.15 pm and lands at Melbourn's Tullamarine Airport at 11.15pm the same day. The total flying time is just under 8 hours.

Melbourn has become the second Australian destination for Cebu Pacific which already has been operating direct flights between Manila and Sydney since 2014. Taking into consideration that there is a huge Filippino community of about 300,000 people in Australia and the fact that the Philippines continue to attract more and more Australian tourists, both adventure-seekers and leisure tourists on a family holiday, the airline feels there is a good potential for the newly introduced route.

Established in 1988, Cebu Pacific is a Philippines based lowcost airline covering 37 domestic and 27 international destinations. It is the airline with the widest route network within the Philippines.
