Jet Start offers first budget flights to Fukuoka

Monopolist in the direction Bangkok Fukuoka (Japan), Thai national carrier Thai International Airways, has met a serious competitor. Singaporean airline Jet Star will launch non-stop flight from Bangkok to Fukuoka as soon as tomorrow.

Jet Star should become the first airline, which will offer no-frills flights in that direction. Their fares are 30-40% lower than Thai Airways offers. Now the promotional prices of Jet Star on Bangkok Fukuoka flights start from 3990 baht one way. The carrier will operate a new route from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok with the 180-seat single-aisle Airbus 320 jet.
