The Ba Na cable car set a record not only in Vietnam but also in the world. Except it is the most modern in the country, it is also the world's longest single-cable cable car. The Ba Na cable car connects Vong Nguyet Hill and Ba Na Mountain, a trip takes more than three miles.
Due to the success and promotion of the project the Vietnamese Authorities plan to construct new one linking the sleepy hill station Sapa in the northwestern province Lao Cai and the top of Fansipan Mount, which is the Indochina's tallest peak.
