Calling all foodies, meat-eaters, vegetarians and beer-drinkers! This September and October Vietnam should be featured heavily on your must-go list.

Already booked your tickets to Asia for autumn but still regretting you'll miss the cult October beer drinking event? No need to worry. Head to Ho Chi Minh City where they will be filling up your beer mugs with premium imported German beer accompanied with mouth-watering German cuisine. A Munich-based Oktoberfest Band will be responsible for the authentic Bavarian party vibe. Come to Hotel Nikko Saigon in District 1 on September, 19-22.

If beer is not your thing, say 'yes' to the Vegetarian Food Festival in Tay Ninh province. The festival will be held from September, 21st till Sptember, 23rd. Over 180 chefs from Ho Chi Minh City and the neighbouring provinces will dish out their green creations and conduct workshops on vegetarian cuisine. The Chinese-American celebrity chef Martin Yan has already confirmed his participation, too.

If it is not enough, from October, 5th till October, 10th Hanoi will hold its first Food Culture Festival ever. Expect to taste all the Hanoi signature culinary masterpieces – from the cult noodle Ha Noi pho soup to Uok Le pork pies. Boun appetite!
