Smart Travel Asia 2018 Best Holiday Destinations

The annual Smart Travel Asia ranking of the best airlines, hotels and destinations has been announced recently. If you are planning a holiday in Asia, here are some of the best destinations to consider in 2018.

As each line of the top-10 by Smart Travel Asia contains from one to three destinations, there are totally 22 best locations chosen by the voters of the poll.
Thailand is featured heavily on the list with Bangkok on the 4th line, immediately followed by Phuket on the 5th and Koh Samui on the 6th while the northern gem of Chinag Mai occupies the 9th place.

Japan stands high with Hokkaido (3rd), Tokyo (7th) and Osaka (10th).
The Philippines and Vietnam both have two mentionings: Palawan (7th), Bohol (10th); Da Nang/Hoi An (8th), Phu Quoc (10th) respectively.
Somewhat unexpectedly the list is topped by the Chinese Shanghai (1st) and Sanya from the southern island of Hainan has also made it to the top-10 (9th). Besides, Taipei (2nd), Hong Kong (5th) and Macau (6th) have not been forgotten either.
Other top destinations 2018 are Bali (Indonesia), Dubai (UAE), Maldives, Rajastan (India), Seoul (South Korea), and Angkor in Cambodia.
