Railways in the Southern Thailand are still under repair

On 14 May the part of South Thai Railways in Ra Ngae district of Narathiwat province was damaged by a recent bomb attack.

On 14 May the part of South Thai Railways in Ra Ngae district of Narathiwat province was damaged by a recent bomb attack. As senior State Railway of Thailand official, Adul Torlaena reported yesterday, repair goes as planned and should be completed by June 1.

The recovery of 80-metre section will cost around Bt1.7 million. At this moment the destruction of railways in Narathiwat province is the cause of 14 trains’ suspension.
