Tourist eco-trams will be launched in Vietnam

The Government of Vietnam approved the transport Ministry’s project to launch special tram tours in selected cities with a view to increase popularity among international tourists.

The Government of Vietnam approved the transport Ministry’s project to launch special tram tours in selected cities with a view to increase popularity among international tourists.

As planned tourist tram tours to be launched in Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Quang Binh. The trams will not only entertain tourists, but also care about the environment. They work on  battery power and help to reduce air pollutions.

621 tramcars will start to serve passengers at the most interesting routes of Vietnamese cities,  431 of trams will work in Thanh Hoa and 50 in Hanoi. If tourist trams will be successful in the four cities, the project will be expanded.
