Several public parks and new residencial areas will get more lights, too. The city is planning to change all the old bulbs currently used for illumination for LED bulbs to save electricity.
Last year the imperial city attracted over 3 mln tourists who spent more than 14 mln USD. Hue is easily reached by air from both Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south with three airlines – Vietnam Airlines, JetStar Pacific and Vietjet – operating flights to Hue's Phu Bai airport.
