As the HCM City Administration reported, the second Metro Line between Ben Thanh Market in District 1 and Tham Luong in the suburban District 12 will be put into operation a year later. As expected it will start to work in 2019 year.
Original the construction of the second Metro Line was completed by the year 2018 and had to be carried out test trials. The delay was caused by changes in project and design of the Metro Line.
